Credit Repair Works

Good credit is essential to buying a home, financing a car, credit card approval, loan approval and more. Employers are allowed to access your credit report too! Having bad credit can seriously impact your life, but it is not hopeless. There are simple but important steps to improving your credit, though you may have to alternately be patient and proactive. Credit Repair will bring your credit report current and accurate so that you can build better credit.

Get innacuracies deleted.

Credit Repair includes disputing inaccurate negative claims on your credit report. Innovative Credit Consultants offer clients credit repair experts who will do the work for you- quickly. However people do try to repair their credit on their own.  Start by filing claims with the three credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax and TransUnion) disputing negative occurrences you did not commit. The creditor who attempted to put a negative item on your report will be contacted and is required by law to respond with proof within thirty days. If they cannot find proof or do not respond within the given time frame, the item will be removed from your report. Since one item can knock off as much as 100 points from your score, getting to the bottom of any inaccuracies is a huge step you can take to improve your credit score.

Pay off debts, maintain credit cards.

If you have negative credit because you have not paid off debts promptly, begin paying your accounts off on time as soon as you can. If you keep the accounts open and start improving your payment habits, your credit score will start to improve and any new creditors will see that you are trying to make good on past mistakes.

While you should be as aggressive as you can about fixing your bad credit score, the only other factor working for you is time. The longer you have kept an account open and paid it off on time, the better your credit score can be; conversely, old negative items, including bankruptcy, will eventually be taken off of your credit report, usually within seven to ten years. Your score will immediately go back up after these negative items have disappeared.
