Why ICC, Can I Repair Credit Myself?

Can I repair my credit myself?

Yes. You can repair your own credit and you can try to get the results you want on your own. The truth is; it is easier to let ICC dispute items for you. Everyone with a credit report has the legal right to dispute anything on their credit report that is inaccurate and questionable.  Disputing items takes time, research and your process must include all three major credit bureaus in order to be effective.

Post Bankruptcy Credit Report Complaints

Bankruptcy can legally stay on a credit report for up to 10 years. Getting approved for a line of credit after bankruptcy is challenging. Each person has their own unique credit report and credit score. When you become married and apply for lines of credit together, both credit histories are used to determine approval. Credit reports do not merge in a marriage, they always remain separate.  If two people are married and obtain a loan together and later get divorced the loan is still the responsibility of both parties.  Even dividing assets cannot change the fact that two names are on a contract as equal and responsible parties.

Credit Matters
